HAVELSAN and CALIDUS Forge Long-Term Partnership to Enhance Training for B-250 Aircraft

With this vision, HAVELSAN and UAE-based defense company CALIDUS have signed a major agreement at IDEF 2025 to develop a comprehensive training ecosystem for the B-250 light attack and trainer aircraft.

From Initial Talks to Strategic Cooperation
The partnership began with a protocol signed at SAHA EXPO and has now matured into a formal contract at IDEF 2025. Beyond delivering systems, the agreement symbolizes a shared commitment to innovation, safety, and long-term collaboration.

An Integrated Training Solution
HAVELSAN will deliver an end-to-end suite of systems designed to prepare pilots for every stage of their journey:

• Flight Training Device (FTD): Immersive simulation replicating real mission scenarios with advanced flight dynamics.
• Part Task Trainers (PTT): Specialized modules focusing on mission-critical maneuvers and systems.
• Cockpit Entry/Exit Simulator (CIES): Safety-focused training to prepare pilots for emergency egress procedures.
• Briefing and Debriefing Station (DBR): A collaborative platform for mission planning and performance analysis.
• Computer-Based Training (CBT): Digital learning that blends theory with practical readiness.

These systems, developed by HAVELSAN, will be installed at CALIDUS facilities in the UAE to support seamless integration and localized operation.
